From 11 September 2023, Joost Deckers will join the Management Board of AVEX in the role of Managing Director for the AVEX Group. Joost will also fulfill the role of Managing Director AVEX Netherlands. Joost is 54 years old and has a highly successful track record of 30 years in the AV and ICT industry. Previously, he held management positions within KPN, Talk & Vision, Ricoh and PinkRoccade Healthcare. Over the past five years, Joost has built a strong cloud proposition for the medical market as Managing Director of PinkRoccade Cloud Solutions.

From 1 October 2023, Madelon van Leenen will fulfill the position of Chief Financial Officer within the AVEX Group. Madelon is 33 years old and has a background in business administration, complemented by a master’s degree in Finance & Control and MBA. In recent years, Madelon has held the position of CFO and managing director at, among others, a software automation company.
From 1 August 2023, Wissam Choucair has started in the position of Managing Director AVEX UK. Wissam is 42 years old and has extensive experience in both operations and commerce. In recent years, Wissam has held various management positions at internationally operating companies in the lighting industry.
From 1 July 2023, Erwin Schmitz joined AVEX’s Management Team from his current position as commercially responsible within AVEX NL. Erwin is 34 years old and has made a major contribution to the growth of AVEX in recent years. In his new position, he will set the course together with the rest of the MT to further strengthen AVEX’s market position.
With these appointments within both the AVEX Group and the organisation within the various countries, AVEX will be even better able to provide its customers with the right solutions and to further expand its position in the market.
