By visualising 400 virtual participants on a XL LED wall
The “EY Assurance Strategy Event” took place on the 23rd of September and was broadcasted from the well-known Dutch venue “Studio 21” in Hilversum. About 2,000 EY-colleagues joined the interactive event, hosting several inspiring speakers and making it an online and offline experience.
Together with Studio Rats, AVEX was involved in the creation and execution of this fantastic virtual event. In the assignment of EY we supplied the camera registration of the event, showing 400 virtual participants on the XL LED walls that covered this unique studio, making it an inclusive online and offline event.

AVEX was present on site with five man-operated cameras. One of those cameras was installed on a crane with a length of 6 meters, creating a beautiful flying overview of shots visualising the impressive LED-wall and the 400 individual remote participants.
Four manned cameras were installed on a dolly making it possible to easily move around the staging area, smoothly capturing all the different settings and connecting the speakers in the venue to the online participants.
Virtual Audience – creating interaction with remote locations
During the event, the participants were connected with each other both offline and online. From different locations EY facilitated several online collaboration sessions and interaction with the studio. To represent this virtual audience, AVEX used various virtual rooms from which we could simultaneously visualise the total of almost 400 participants on the impressive LED wall of Studio 21.
