This summer a new set has been taken into use by NOS Sport at the start of the soccer world championship. NOS Sport news and NOS Studio sport will be broadcasted from this new studio. NOS has chosen for a new setting because it was time for replacement of the old set and technical installation.
The most striking renewal is the choice of the futuristic setting that gives you the feeling of being in a skybox. In this setting it is simple and efficient to broadcast different programs from one location and even combine them. The new setting with integrated audiovisual technique gives the audience and even more live like experience of being there live in the stadium.
AVEX’s specialists facilitated a large LED display on the back wall. The energy efficient LED screen has a 4mm LED-pitch and is 40 m2. On set they have also chosen for two LED displays (11m² en 4m²) with high image quality based on 1.6 mm LED pitch.
