In order to update the appearance of the EBN building, they have acquired an extra space where they can welcome everyone. During the renovation, with the advice of AVEX, LED solutions were chosen that can present content on a large screen. “With the LED wall we can welcome our visitors and guests when they enter our building,” says Sander de Waal, Coordinator Infrastructure & Security at Energie Beheer Nederland.

“After research by AVEX, it turned out that a video wall with LED displays was the best option for our needs. We wanted a real eye-catcher that gives our visitors the ‘wow effect’. At the same time, we can show what we are currently working on in an informative and unique way.”

Custom dimensions, impressive views

In the new part, a limited height was available in relation to the width of the wall. That is why AVEX has advised to opt for LED displays that together form one impressive video wall, while it remains intuitive to use for EBN. A comparison was made in advance between different available brands, after which LG solutions were chosen.

“After our advice for the correct application, we visited the LG showroom together with EBN, where we gave a tutorial. Everyone was able to experience the solutions in real life here,” says Marcel Brinkhof, Branch Account Manager Sales at AVEX. “The final LED wall in the Energie Beheer Nederland building is also extremely special. It has an impact when you as a visitor walk into the central hall of their office. It is also an extra set-up where presentations and/or speeches can be held for larger groups.”

Impossible to miss

Just like AVEX, Energie Beheer Nederland also looks back very positively on the completed project and their video wall. All LED displays contribute to conveying EBN’s mission and objectives to visitors and guests. The employees of the organization also stop every day to watch the presentations on the video wall. “You can’t just walk past it,” says De Waal.

“In addition, our other visitors are very impressed when they see the LED wall in our welcome hall. Then they say ‘Impressive’ and ‘This is a very clear and sharp image’. That is why this is an extremely beautiful and effective application to show what we as EBN do.”
