We are proud to announce that we have won a prestigious award in the Venues & Event Spaces category at the Inavation Awards 2025 in Barcelona for our project at the NBC Conference Center. This recognition confirms our commitment to innovation and quality in the audiovisual sector.
The Inavation Awards are considered the absolute top of the global AV industry. Just reaching the final was a huge honour for us, but to actually win in the Venues & Event Spaces category makes us extremely proud.
Our sincere thanks go to the NBC Conference Center for the fantastic and long-standing cooperation. The unwavering confidence of the team at NBC and our strong partnership have made these great achievements possible.
In September 2022, the NBC Conference Center was hit by a devastating fire. After the fire, NBC and AVEX joined forces to not only rebuild the conference center, but also transform it into a state-of-the-art event venue with the help of AV technology.
One of the most striking features of the renewed NBC is the largest 3D projection set in the Netherlands, which covers a stage of more than 45 meters wide. In addition, the project also included the development and implementation of an advanced AV over IP system designed in-house by AVEX, which enables a network of AV connections throughout the building. This system provides NBC with unparalleled flexibility and control, as each network port becomes a potential AV connection. From a central Master Control room, NBC’s AV team can easily manage the audiovisual equipment in the hospitality area, the 22 sub-rooms and two large event halls, including content management, such as presentations, digital signage and customer branding. These innovations have not only significantly improved NBC’s operational efficiency, but also taken the user experience for both guests and employees to the next level.

The competition in the Venues & Event Spaces category was huge, with impressive projects from the United States, the United Kingdom, Spain, Hong Kong and India, among others. The fact that AVEX was not only a finalist among these global top names, but also the winner, makes this victory all the more special and a confirmation of our innovative strength!
