This global event brings together 70 astronauts, various scientists, and numerous dignitaries to discuss space exploration and international cooperation. Our involvement in this event is a wonderful testament to the strong relationships we have built over the years, both with famous Dutch astronaut André Kuipers and ESA-ESTEC.

As the preferred partner for the ASE Planetary Congress 2024
This week, AVEX is honoured to play a significant role at the Association of Space Explorers Planetary Congress 2024, which is being held from 30 September to 4 October at ESA-ESTEC in Noordwijk – The Netherlands. AVEX is providing audiovisual services for the congress, including a large presentation wall.
Audiovisual support for a world congress
At the Association of Space Explorers Planetary Congress 2024, AVEX will once again showcase its expertise with a powerful audiovisual installation. In the event space at ESA-ESTEC, we will install a impressive curved LED screen, which will be the focal point of the stage. This screen will not only be used to display crystal-clear presentations and images from space but will also form a crucial part of the stage experience for more than 100 attending astronauts, scientists, and international guests.
In addition to installing the screen, our Event Facilities team has also designed the stage and lighting, including stunning LED lines around the stage, which elevate the visual presentation. We will also provide full audio support, video production, and camera direction to ensure every moment of this unique congress is perfectly captured and broadcast.
Years of collaboration with André Kuipers
Our collaboration with Dutch astronaut André Kuipers spans many years. Kuipers regularly shares his experiences in space with a wider audience through his inspiring lectures and theatre tours, and he has long relied on AVEX’s audiovisual expertise. Whether supporting his live events, presentations, or theatre productions, we take pride in consistently enhancing the quality and impact of his stories with our audiovisual solutions. At the Planetary Congress, we are once again honoured to continue this collaboration by providing audiovisual support for the event.
AVEX and ESA-ESTEC: Innovation through collaboration
In addition to our partnership with André Kuipers, we also have a longstanding relationship with ESA-ESTEC, the technological heart of the European Space Agency (ESA) in Noordwijk. This includes our work in the CDF Centre, where we have implemented various audiovisual solutions as a system integrator.
